FIGHT NIGHT 1 RULES:

A) Kickboxing (with restrictions for knees, grabbing and catching)

• 4 limbs: Strikes, Kicks and Knees

• No grabbing is allowed. No hard or prolonged clinching is allowed.

• Only one knee strike is allowed per attack.

• No tripping, leg catching to sweep, throwing, joint locks

B) Muay Thai (with elbow restriction)4 limbs: Strikes, kicks and knees.

• Hard clinching allowed

• No elbows

 

General

• Knee strikes to the back of the head or spine are prohibited. An accidental knee strike resulting in injury to the head will cause the match to be stopped and “No Contest” declared. If a blatant foul occurs, the opponent automatically wins.

• All fighters must wear a mouth-guard.

• Weigh-in day is 1 day before competition, and if a fighter is above the prescribed weight, their opponent will be granted the right to wear lighter gloves, or possibly face disqualification.

• 3 knockdown rule - Any knockdown that causes the referee to begin a count qualifies as one knockdown, whether or not the count reaches ten. If a fighter incurs three such knockdowns in a single round, the referee will declare that fighter to have lost by TKO.

• Fighters are responsible to understand what illegal moves (e.g. headbutts) and bad conduct (e.g. evasion) they should avoid to not only avoid point deductions, but also to keep fights fair, engaging and safe for all.

Gloves

• 16oz gloves+ (if you are 60kg or above)

• 14oz gloves for lower than 60kg

Guest Entrance Fee

• $60 per head (free for below 6 years old)
